I hate selling and buying anymore..

$10 tag on a swap meet pulley...Here is $10, SOLD! Thanks. How simple is that? Uh, would you take 8? No. Still pretty simple. I hate haggling. If the guy comes down 20% I feel he was trying to zing someone, ie. me. 20K negotiable...what does that even mean? Start at 20 and expect a counter offer of 16 to meet in the middle at 18? F that, that's why I bought the last 4 used cars are carmax. Price on the window is what it is. No greasy salesman stroking his sales manager 'on your behalf' to unload a car they bought for 60% of the asking price at auction. Last car I sold for $4000. Fist thing I asked the guy when he showed up: Do you want to buy this car for $4000? Uh.....no. Thanks, have a nice day. Still pretty simple. When I did buy a car off another person. I looked at it, determined $2800 was too much (a beater 4cyl truck) and said, thank you for your time and walked away. The guy quickly lowered his price 20%. I stopped, took a closer look and pointed out a few things that made me not want it. ie 4 bald $$ 34" tires and a steering wheel that had 4" of play in it plus a cab full of trash (?). He came down another $200 on his own, and I still walked. Those tires would have cost me plenty to replace. Looking back, it was a pretty cool Ford Ranger: 2.4 EFI, Recaro buckets. Plastic front fenders, 4" lift. Something just didnt feel right about it or the seller, probably his lack of teeth or his constant nervous tick.

if I have a pulley on my table, it won’t have a price tag on it, because there would be a stack of them. When asked, it would be $10, and it’s up to the buyer to talk me down, which is pretty easy.
