Selling your classic

The thread a few days ago about buying and selling cars hit home with me as it gives me stress even thinking about selling my car
If I could trust somebody and compensate them as a broker to sell my car id gladly do it.
Ive been tossing around the idea of finally at 70 buying my dream car for a few years now and if I dont do it now I never will.
I could swing it now without selling my present 69, but im to fiscal conservative and I do not have the garage space
This past week I saw a car id had like to look at, my banker left it up to me and my mine raced with how I would pull this off.... The car sold within two days of advertised.
Im friendly and honest to a fault but I do not have much patience for buyers who are asshole's and think they can get over
So my question is to you guys who are much more experienced at this is whats the best venue to sell a classic? How do you arrange payment, my biggest concern? What about buyers inspection, id insist on buyers inspection, I want the buyer to go over this car with a fine toothed comb and I will be a hundred percent honest with any buyer.
Thoughts? Thanks
