Something a little different. Speed on water

-
Wow.

That dose look like perfect conditions for a fast pass.

Smooth water "glass" is slow due to friction and suction.

To rough and well that sucks...

Just right, nice little ripples. Like a golf ball.

I grew up on race boats but nothing even close to that.

Speed on water is not the same animal as going fast anywhere else.

That guy must carry his nuts down the dock in a wheelbarrow.

Nice. The hull was gliding on the surface, fast smooth run.

Those guys are nuts. I've been 60 in a bass boat and it felt like 150 in a car sitting so close to the water.

Ya!! That **** is crazy!! I have been 75 mph on the water and that feels like your flying!!!

I was gonna say ekranoplane ......just flying above the water on a cushion of air with the prop about the only thing in the water

My buddy has a Hydrostream, 80 mph on a good day. Its fun but if something goes bad its gonna hurt.
Screamandfly.com i think you will find some videos of fast boats

My one buddy has a ski boat that was powerful enough to get 7 of us up skiing and we weren’t very skilled. With one of us on a tube in the river I would love to know how fast we were going when he cranked the wheel and did a 180. I was shocked how far you can roll on top the water.

The Miss Budweiser progression I had the pleasure of watching on Mission Bay :steering::D

Top Fuel on a river (Savannah River Augusta, GA) Went a couple of times, those guys are truly nuts.:realcrazy:

I had a jet boat in the 1980's that would go 75mph on good water. It seemed fast at the time but pales in comparison to fast boats.
