I upgraded mine with this guy's tips. I used an old cake pan for the baffle and I decided against a foot pedal, having installed a better nozzle some years before.
This guy does it pretty cheap, although I don't know if his links are still going to be good.
I watched this incredibly boring video too and at about ten minutes in, used his method to drop the floor.
