I've got a 71 dart 318 4bbl performer intake electronic ignition 90k on it dual exhaust 3:55 sure grip out back. I wanna pull the trans and have it rebuilt. My question is what would be a good torque converter upgrade for that combo. But I wanna also keep in mind I plan on putting a mild 360 in it around 350 ish hp myb lol.

What's your compression ratio and what camshaft are you running? 65'

With a stock cam and most likely compression ratio I see no real need for a high stall converter. The engine and driveline work together as a system. While you have a good start, I would most likely change the cam first. 65'

I’m pretty sure you could call up TCI or one of the other companies, tell them your setup (they may ask for spec on the engine, cam, induction, trans gears, final drive ratio, tire size, etc and how you want to drive it) and they would give you something in the ballpark that would work well. That said, your eventual 360 set up sounds somewhat similar to what I used to have in my car and the consensus was that a 2600 RPM stall was a safe bet.

Still, Converters are not cheap and swapping one is probably going to take you a couple hours (it would take me about four :) ) so it’s worth calling and asking the question IMO.

I wouldn't call ANYBODY unless you want to spend 6-700 bucks....There's a 22-2700 high stall rebuilt 904 converter on ebay for $225 free ship. Item #23433917432 with good feedback.

Easy ! Name calling is a big No !! Drop this please or take it to a private conversation.

If it was me, I'd wait until the 360 was installed. The converter that works for the 318 may not work the same behind the 360. As a mechanic buddy of mine once told me "Do it right ONCE"
