Selling your classic

I've sold cars through wire transfers, cash in person, and once the guy deposited the money in my account at the bank when his transporter showed up and car was on the trailer. I don't know why you would insist on an inspection. I'd suggest it, but that's on the buyer. Used cars are sold as is where is in my state, so it's on the buyer to do his due diligence. Price of the vehicle would determine where I would sell it. $100,000 car on craigslist of facebook marketplace would seem out of place. I'd do Hemming's or maybe an auction house like Mecum. I've done 30K cars here and different automotive forums with good results.
The reason id want the buyer to do a inspection is I dont want to hear anyones nonsense . The fact that im not liable or not doesn't mater to me
When I sell anything the buyer knows the true story. I lost a few sales this way but its how I operate.
Ive been thinking of Hemmings and I may go that route
I just talked to the body guy today.....He is finishing up a car and wants my car next. Ive been waiting two years now for him.....Im going to have him install the rocker panel clips and the panels plus touch up areas of the paint
Thanks for replies
