Piker Porting (Intake Manifolds)

The problem with that test is the 600" hi revving bigblock . The dyno pull starts around 5k... that really doesnt translate to what we are trying to achieve on 408-416 CI street engines that need to idle and go 20 mph downtown or cruise down the hiway at 60 mph .
I agree. Although I do wonder what/if the difference would be if you added a turtle to an already sorted out “street/strip” oriented 400+ inch small block with a single plane. And so no one has to go watch the episode I’ll spoil it, the manifold with the turtle had better distribution, made more average hp/tq and more peak hp/tq than any other manifold in the test. Surprisingly it flowed the same amount of air and used the same amount of fuel as the 2nd place intake but made more power.
