Pt. 2 Speed master magnum head review and run down

These heads I milled .024 to all end up @60.5 - 61cc chambers. Int ports ended up @160cc ported.
Ootb using a plate...the as cast int port volume are 150cc's. Without the plate the water is allowed to bulge some=exaggerated reading.
I put these on as I planned a while back...with a cheap pos summit carb approved shortie headers ..and my truck hauls *** now. Massive improvement!! The part throttle is huge..as before it was having to down shift a lot more...but not now. It also feels like the cam actually comes on or like it has a cam in it now @ about 2800 rpm it lights off and goes to 5000 rpm no problem. Springs are set up at 130lbs seat 260lbs open 'stock cam lift .416 lift'. 300k and still has cross hatch in the cylinders... runs like a top now. It was a good move. That truck has a new rear end, new transmission and a better running/more power than new motor..

The stock heads= wasted guides, valves,
seats , seals, broke end studs...flowed like an ants prik...
