Before bashing a business do a little research

As a one man operation (not auto related) I can say it is a challenge right now. Some supply chains have almost dried up completely.

I've been developing an ignition system and getting the parts I need has been difficult. One key component, a simple transistor, is showing a 56 week lead time! I had to scour the web to find the quantity I needed. Sadly, looks like I won't be building any more for at least a year unless the world changes for the better suddenly.

That said, I don't take money for anything I don't have in hand and can deliver in a timely manner.

I worry all the time when I see quantities at vendors getting low. Had many inquiries about battery cables and the Battery lug was out of stock for 8 months in a popular gauge across 5 vendors. I had a chance to grab the last 10-20 and passed as the restock date was 30 days out and I had 2 left. Turned into 8 months!

Then you can't go trying to put your eye out working on stuff. Luckily most folks are chill with delays when you are up front with them. Communication...
