I was reading the directions for it (or the summit brand one can't remember now) and it said to heat it up in a oven or boiling water to expand it for a slip fit on the crank.
I didn't do that. It went on like any other HB.

Nope Noone else has them available all special order. I guess the good news there is I can get it and the trans pan now. And that gives me till March to save up for the pulleys lol then I can do the pan now and the hb and pulleys at the same time in March or Aprilish

The HB is a for sure. Nothing wrong with the pulleys I have now but the cvf ones are lighter and will look cleaner. The pan on the other hand i sorta need because mine leaks like a seave. Im on my 3rd gasket and it still leaks. So if I go by necessity I probably should get the pan and HB. But I really want the pulleys haha and since I have to disassemble the front of the engine anyway now would be the time to replace them
Yep, I didn't know your pan was leaking, by all means change that pan

I just don't know if I should go all fancy with the aluminum one or just stick to a standard one. I have a extra stock pan but I'd hate to go to all the work and change it for the 4th time just to leak again. Apparently factory pans are bad about leaking. I may just rtv the original style pan and save 150 bucks

They can be a chore can't they, I have had good luck with the mopar gray sealant, and I am sure you know to put a straight edge on the pan and dolly out the bolt holes back to the arigenal position... its almost a tedious job, to prep these pans

I say heads up to get your dial in and bracket for the showdown. All runs contributing to an unofficial penalty box shootout for that weekend.

Maybe after I run clocks off with Hoosier Garage, I'll have my dial in. Then, if Dartfreak75 has another challenge, he can race that and he'll have his dial in. Then we can bracket leaving it all to the best driver and most consistent car takes all the marbles !!!! :poke:

I was the reason one race did not happen. I did not get my junk running in time. But, 318willrun and I never did bicker about it. We even threw a lot of ideas for our projects back and forth in PMs and phone calls. Either one of us would gladly help the other. I did get a lot accomplished on mine, and trying to get ready for "the race that did not happen" is the reason. So, I am glad for it. Fun times for sure!

I hope both of these guys are able to make it. Win or lose, I bet they'll both be grinning at the finish line.
Sorry, Sam, I was not inferring that you 2 were bickering (I honestly forgot about your race, you guys are chill)....There were others that crossed my mind when I wrote that.

So... I have been asked to attend the nonamenationals and would like to but my Youtube chanel only has 79 subscribers. I have more than 800 followers on Instagram, does that count?

I would be bringing my 71 Dart.
