..How much difference will lighter, newer style forged pistons or hypereutectics make?

Worked 40 years ago and will now !
I have a friend / member (Professional machinist) on site building me a 40 over ( 73 ) 360 with crank spacers and going to use these jewels in it along with a 68
340 crank ''' .
