440 swap K member question and overall update for those who care lol

So we measured out my 440 and the cylinders were only about .1000 out of spec, probably more, but well within ability to use standard pistons. Guy locally had a set set of Speed Pro hyper pistons with rings for sale brand new for super cheap.

The cylinders had a slight ridge, so my cousin and I used an OEM ridge reamer, I was skeptical but wow does it work well. So ball hone next to knock off the glaze and its assembly time.

The heads are E street, but they have been worked both some porting, fixing the valve job, etc. They are already flowing over 300 which is great not much done to ruin my low end. They are the 75CC versions, the chambers needed some work, so they are probably 78 now. Guessing I should end up with at least 10.50 compression.

Crank specs out well, bearings are actually good but for the price I am not taking a chance. Replacing both rod and mains, the cam bearings look brand new.

Bought a spare K member that I had blasted and powder coated for a case of beer, it looks amazing.

Going to install the whole deal from the bottom. I have a maxx jaxx lift so I my buddy and I are going to make a rig to roll under the k member with engine trans and suspension to do it the easier way

My Schumacher Tri Y's showed up a couple of weeks ago. I really wish I had paid for the coated ones, but they will still be just fine. They are kinda neat

I will take some pics of everything this week if anyone cares lol...

Should be on road for spring. with the amount of snow we have this winter, that might be a long way off still
