I have an arthritic back and shoulder and now in my mid 50's I finally invested in a 4 post hoist now I have the room to put one. Picked it up yesterday and cant wait to install.

I am so looking forward to not lying on the floor and hurting my back, shoulders and knees and make those jobs under the car so much easier. There comes a time in life when you gotta make things easier if you want to continue in this hobby.

GOOD FOR YOU, buddy. I've had a "bought used" 2 post now for a number of years, and it saves my ***, literally.

Did you also get the center jack option to lift the car while on the ramps? If not it would be a good idea to. Without them it sucks trying to lift the car to get a tire off and such…

The metal brackets that they ship it with make a hell of a roll around work bench with a little fab work !

When we move later this year, my new shop will have one. I'm almost 64, and still rolling under the car. My wife retires on April 1st(Really!), and we're heading back to central, western Florida. If needed, the shop will have A/C, too. Thanks for all the positive reviews.

I wouldn't have minded but it was an extra $900

Where I'm at, if I don't spend it, they'll tax me for it and spend it on some social program. Sorry for the rant, TMM can slap me in the morning. After looking at my tax documents, at least his would be an honest slap.

Details? What brand? How much overhead required, floor minimum thickness, and AC requirements? Am aging out myself and this would be a certain garage upgrade. Thanks

Agree 100%. It's a game changer. The hesitation about working on the car because of the inconveniences disappear. You're gonna love it. Mine came to me while I was
putting exhaust on my car. Guess which was more fun?

Uh Yeah, you’re gonna need that A/C in central Florida

At 74 I get down and almost can not get back up!! I decided best to sell down to a couple of cars that do not require me too often to have to get under them! If I was 10 years younger I would get a lift.
Some guy mentioned a "sky hook!"

Money well spent, you'll wonder why you waited so long to get it. Had mine since 2013, will never be without it again as long as I have a car that I want to work on.

One of the deciding factors when we bought our house was the neighbor has a huge shop with a lift and several mopars

I got mine about two years ago - some of the best money I've ever spent! The decision on 2-post vs. 4-post has pro's and con's on both sides. I decided this one would check the most boxes and have the fewest shortcomings.

When I retired 4 yrs ago, I had a shop built with 2 bays, one side with a two post lift. In the future, I have considering adding a 4 post. Each has its pros and cons, and I can use one while friends and family tie up the other one

Bought my first one 19 years ago and my second one 3 years ago.

Best tool I’ve ever bought, and I’ve bought a lot of tools…

I would recommend buying the jack adapter.

Congrats! They make life a lot easier for us old guys...lol. It will be a bit of adjustment using it, because you have to learn how to work under a car a different way now. Next tool to buy is a transmission jack!
