How to ruin a classic muscle car era Mopar

I'll respond, but only once.
These old girls are 50-60 years old now- that's older than Model Ts were when I was a kid.
To discount major deviatons from stock on our cars would be to dismiss the entire car hobby.
You'd have to eliminate every T bucket, highboy or roadster built in the last 70 years. Every Tri-5 Chevy that did not come from the factory with its current drivetrain, every pre-mid 60s car that now has disc brakes or a more modern transmission, or even radial tires.
To dis modified cars is to negate the usefulness of the entire aftermarket support of the hobby.
The use of newer parts is necessary to keep our vehicles on the road as the availability of good original parts becomes harder and harder, and in many cases improves the safety aspect of the cars to boot. Take away the option to update cars (safely) and we may as well just send them all to the scrap heap right now.
Worse than legislation, worse than Californian Eco-Nazis, and worse than time itself; closed-mindedness will be the death of our hobby, not the savior of it.
So, rock on all you people with seemingly hare-brained ideas, unique perspectives and/or the desire to keep an older, vintage auto on the road by any means possible. It may not be to my taste, but there's always someone who doesn't like what you're doing- just be thankful that we're still allowed to do it.
Keep modifying if that's what you're into; and keep the hot rod spirit alive.
