The committee was discussing moving additional Marines to the island, and effects of their increased footprint on the island. Guam IS relatively small, 8 miles wide by 32 miles long, AND it is held up underwater by 3 pillars coming up from the Marianas Trench. SO in theory............it could tip over into the Pacific Ocean:poke:
