Back when I first got to California in the Navy I was at the commissary looking for a Delmonico to make for dinner and couldn’t find any. Noticed a picture of a cow that had all the cuts labeled and there was this cut labeled a “ribeye” with Delmonico in parentheses below it. They had plenty of those ribeye thingies and the night was saved. Thought they were still called Delmonico’s back in the Burgh?
