The Mopars of Brevard car club will be hosting their annual super swap meet/car show. The event starts at 8am on February 25, 2022 which will only feature the swap meet ending at 4pm. the next day February 26 we will be holding a car show, as well as the swap.

There is a real good chance I will be there on Saturday. All the way from New Brunswick, Canada. We are going to be in Cocoa Beach during that time. If I go I will be wearing a Demon hat.

I just got back. I was there for 2 hours and unfortunately I didn't run into anybody. Some nice cars there though. Especially a very nice 70 Duster. I didn't get any photo but maybe somebody else will.

The one that got away yesterday.

Kind of a Rat Rod Body, but still savable. 1970 Dart

318, LD340, 904, 741 Sure Grip, was a conversion from slant 6 and needed finishing. Clean Clear Title.

Spool mount V8 K, fiberglass hood,
Rusted trunk floor with replacement floor.

No time to think, got out of my vehicle and went right over to it, looked it over to see what it was, do a little dealing all in 1/2 hour.

Was real close to pulling the trigger on the deal, half hour later it was gone.

Lol . . Knew it would go quick, don't like having to make a car decision on that quick of a basic.

Just as well, don't need another project right now. Lots of people looking at it and it went fast. He was asking $2900, priced to sell quick and that it did.

That polished cross ram, the whole table, small block Chevy stuff. Good material on his table. He also had an Offenhsuser (sp?) cross ram and that tall bow tie single plane. Very good intake.

$2900 for the Dart?

Good thing I did t bring money…..

  • I wore a SuperBee 'T' shirt and a Strutmasters Hat, :rolleyes: LOL
  • I Didn't see 'that stole the election guy' George in his Mopar shirt or Jack in a Demon Hat. :poke: Still set on meeting up with the Rumblefish one of these days.
  • The silver back-a-ruda went up for an award. :thumbsup:
  • Bought a 16" 3000 cfm fan, that's it. New in sealed box, open it when I get home. Only 3 of the 4 mounting tab ears were in the box.:BangHead:
  • Looked at all the nice rides and enjoyed it.
  • The show has changed, I remember seeing Herb McCandless once and The (modernized) Mopar Missile there years back.
Some guys left the show doing this :steering:

Other commitments came up and I lost all my prep time.

...then the biggest one cancelled at the last minute :BangHead:

I was looking forward to going, too.
 
I had the opposite happen to me. Loaded up a truck and small trailer full of all my stuff. Show was only an hour away. Cost $100 for space for weekend. Snowstorm and sold a 7 blade fan for $35. Missed 2 OT calls for work($2k). That was the last show I dragged my junk to lol.
For me it's the hunt.
