At Goodwood Festival, 2010, which is held at former station RAF Westhampnett. He was stationed there in 1941 & 42 before he went to Egypt.
Those are cool, but probably the best of the era were the fuel injected Daimlers. My cousin was a Spitfire pilot. He said that German pilots would try to bait them into following them into maneuvers that would stall the carbureted Merlins in the Spitfires.
