I have an arthritic back and shoulder and now in my mid 50's I finally invested in a 4 post hoist now I have the room to put one. Picked it up yesterday and cant wait to install.

I am so looking forward to not lying on the floor and hurting my back, shoulders and knees and make those jobs under the car so much easier. There comes a time in life when you gotta make things easier if you want to continue in this hobby.

Yes, a must. After eighteen years of planning for our new shop the hoist was on the list. We decided to place the posts on 3 foot deep piles with a steel pile cap and J hooks. The hoist posts are welded to that cap. The heated floor was poured around the piles.
