Classic industries radiator finally gave out

You’ll get more mileage out of a copper/brass radiator. My aluminum radiator didn’t last two years.
Many aftermarket aluminum radiators are thin and poorly made.
Long long ago I decided to try a used radiator out of the wrecking yard. My mind was on affordable and longevity. Something from a production car, meant to last ..a warranty... who has a really long warranty? BMW happen to be one of those auto manufacturers that do...but mainly ..at the time.. it just looked like the right candidate. Its a plastic/aluminum radiator out of a 5 series BMW that had a 6 cyl... and its cooled a 9.5 comp 340 and 9.98 comp 410 just fine.
Bought it used in 2003....still good.
I know... bmw.. but this is a mopar site.
Hot rodding. If you're gonna catch wood for an aluminum radiator..then you're not a purist anyways.lol I drilled one 3/8 hole and welded a 2"tap to drill through on the pass side. Uses a moroso inline filler neck..
The whole thing cost 58 bucks n uses a slant upper for the lower hose. 175-185 all day in 100 degree weather. Pulls the grapevine on a mid summer day in the fast lane... and it's only one row.....
Looks like this but mine has the A/T cooler in it.
