I also agree - road trip - but with a caveat. Since your pick up time seems set out a ways and shipping parts across the country any more is damn expensive. If you know what parts you might need, and the budget allows. I'd consider making deals with people that broach your road trip, pickup an enclosed trailer where the car is. Kind of hobo back picking up pieces along the way. Make a real road trip of it. Might even sell the trailer for more than you bought it for. AZ builds lots of trailers.

Or, and this is a stretch. But there are a **** ton of snowbirds with the big RV's that are down in AZ that start heading home soon. With fuel prices as high as they are. Just thinking outside the box. Pops is down there now but he's not headed your direction. If I could find stuff for him to haul to offset costs a bit..... he'd be all in.
