Well it took about a year but I finished it today. I have another ship model this size but not sure I want to start it.

Nice Job! I have built a few ship models myself and I know the amount of work and dedication that one has to have to finish one!
 
I don't know how you guys do it??? I barely have the patience to tie my shoes so I just tie knots instead of a bow and slip the shoes on and off!!
 
We have a couple of cats that are about eight months old, it doesn’t work out well at all to have any kind of string out. Actually, just putting on socks is a high risk affair! I have been looking at lakes freighter kits myself lately. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into what y’all have been doing. Amazing skills to do that.
 
I salute you sir. That thing would end up dying a horrible death underneath my size 13EEE shoe. I do not have the long suffering for such.
