Questions about BPC4082CTC 408/375hp

Hello....I purchased a Blueprint BPC4082CTC from Summit Racing yesterday to install in the wifes 72 Duster...I was wondering if this engine will arrive with 10 or 5 bolt valve covers?...Some of the file photos I have seen feature a chrome 5 bolt while others show a black finned aluminum 10 bolt style?....WIll it have the GM style large cap HEI distributor that I've seen in some photos while others show a stock style Mopar unit?....I am new to Mopars but not in building and working on cars have been a Chevy guy for over 40 years but switched over a couple of years ago starting with a 440+6 69 Roadrunner.....Last question...The Duster currently has an LA 360 with a 727...It was originally a 318 car....Will I need new engine mounts? and will be converting it over to an A833 4spd with the new engine swap. Which flywheel will I need?.....Thank You
Hey there! thanks for going with a BluePrint Engines. I'm the Product Manager of the company, and happy to help with any questions.
let me ask, did you end up getting an in-stock engine from summit? or was it ultimately sold out, so they ordered you one?

The current production Iron headed 408 will get the LA style chrome valve covers, and a small cap, distributor. But....if it was sitting there in stock for a while, that may differ.

regardless, it'll need an LA360 flywheel. It will however use a magnum balanced damper. our website is the best source of current add on parts, product info, the current picture, etc.

your motor mounts should be ok if they are 360 mounts, or will need a simple spacer if they are 318 mounts. passenger side only.
happy to help. let me know if you have one headed your way already from their stock or not. that can help me on the tinware answers. At one point I had this exact engine in my dart. It ran 12.20's with an ET streets, and an ATI converter.
