I'm looking at shipping options. I've got eight (8) 400 blocks and a 413 and some more stuff I'll be sending over. I'm not sure it is a good idea to have Ray ship all my stuff to that guy (in OK). He might as well send it straight to NJ.

You have a separate PM, @halifaxhops (nope, still no go).

Also, a couple of guys responded to my WTB ad for stock bore 440 pistons.
What’s a Mopar big block pull in money wise over there

Actually, a decent VN era movie on called platoon leader. Actually, a good one but half the guys have M-4's

I sold the good 400 blocks for $800 each last time and an almost complete stock '64 or '65 383 in great condition fully disassembled for $700.

A running 440 is anywhere from 2.000 to 4.000 depending on state and how much the seller knows about it. "Ran when pulled" maybe 1.200-1.500.

400:s are cheaper. Only the block that's worth anything as you know.

Built engines, well ...

Hmm so not much difference than. I’ve been debating keeping or selling my 440 block. It’s a 1970 standard block. But I know as soon as I do, I’ll bust my other one and then be back to finding another.

No, buying running engines isn't really worth it. It's the 400 blocks that are really hard to find over here.

I watched a little bit of the Xfinity practice at Fontana, windy sunuvagun. Flags on the bleachers were stickn' straight out like a weddin' male anatomy part . I read somewhere that this is the last event weekend on the 2 mile oval. They are going to remake it into a half mile oval. At 09:00 the bleachers were pretty much empty. Glad I got to see the place when it was in it's prime.

Well, the adventure continues.

D/S strut rod nut won't break free....so been puzzling that... it's the one by K break. And the last several hours I've spent laying on the floor under the car had brought a number of things to my attention. Looks to me that this thing fell/dropped/hit something at some point. (See pic)

Up-side is all the steering linkage is out. Torsion bars struggles continue just from built up crud and the trans cooler lines and headers/exhaust makes access very challenging on the Driver's side. Passed the MDL last night so pressing forward.

Dog has the right idea...
