Only took 18 years but I finally got to pin on my new stripes.

Evening, didn’t get as warm as they said it would, worked inside for a while. Dogs were getting to be a pain in the but, so we went out for a long walk in the afternoon.

Mom fell and broker her color bone. Damn, she keeps it up she won't see 100.

Sorry to hear that. They're not going to put her in one of those waist to armpit casts? Are they? My high school buddy broke is collar bone after riding his dirt bike head on into a pucker bush and doing the famous "Flying W" over the handle bars.

Another friend of mine that he was riding with rode back to where I was parked and led me out to the scene. I could tell his shoulder was messed up. He was kinda propped up against the bush screaming "It's my leg! It's my leg!" "No Bill, it's not your leg." He wound up in one of those half body casts with his arm across his chest. In the desert, during the summer. Just before the cast came off, it was all we could do to get within 5' of him because of the pungent odor .

Long day. Got buddy’s cousins car serviced, needs solenoids for cam timing control, he will pick them up and i can install. Fargo been sitting for 2 months, turned key and it fired right up. So i put it in shop and will putter with it tomorrow.
Then spent the rest of the day visiting. And eating.

Nope, no cast. But they did put a order in for some morphine. Safer than opioid! Hey, what the heck, she's 95.

They gave me one of the oxysumthins when I boogered up my knee. I took 2 of them and threw the rest in the garbage disposal. I simply could not function after taking them. Alieve and ice packs were my pain killers after that.

Second day after my open heart surgery I was on Xtra strength Tylenol.

Same after my shoulder operation. Tramadol. Took one first night, then two second night when the effect wore off after a couple of hours. Felt so good/weird I didn't dare take any more.

Really nervous. Decided to go all in on the blocks down in OK. The seller will haul 9 blocks to the machinist and he'll clean, mag, rough bore and top deck all nine. And he'll install cam bearings and freeze plugs.

All for $300 per block, plugs and bearings included. Sleeves as necessary, $100 extra per bore.

My engine builder over here advised against it but It's a helluva deal.
