I keep noticing numbers!

Your dual dimension is the same for both
Ya, the company has a template that we have to use. Some where along the way it got messed up and no one has fixed it. Some times I turn off dual dimensions some times I don't. It is legacy from when we were still using standard vs metric.

My previous job was all metric, this job started as standard and in 6 months changed to metric. I had to relearn the feel for standard, but I was so happy to switch back to metric.

The long timers still work in standard

I keep telling them it's so much easier. The stuff we work on is all designed in metric so the numbers come out so much better.
0.001" =~ 0.025mm
0.002" =~ 0.050mm
0.003" =~ 0.075mm
0.004" =~ 0.100mm
Etc.

The work I do is basically pre-work for the MEs, they take my para solids and do their work from there. No one ever sees my work so as sloppy as it is it is of no consequence, EXCEPT for the development of bad habits.

When I first started I had all my dimensions lined up and purty. When my boss laughed at the time I took to make it purdy I decided not to bother.
