Transmission Recommendation for a 318

What do you have running in your car?
My friend has been texting and speak with the sell of the engine. We are told the engine was pulled 4years ago and that the dirt is from simply sitting around. We were also provided these video of it running in his car prior to pulling it out. Not sure this sounds or performs like a turd, but still doing inquiries to vet this out before making a decision and appreciate you input.

Depends on which car your asking about. My daily driver 71 dart has a $300 junkyard magnum 318, bone stock with a aluminum dual plane, a set of Doug's headers and a thermo quad. Backed with a a999 transmission and a 3:23 rear. Gets 21 mpg on the highway. Nothing necessarily wrong with a 318, but some re ring "rebuild" that's been sitting for 4 years ain't worth ANYWHERE near what your contiplating spending.
