I have that kit (what the 340 came out of) and am seriously thinking of using it. The Bandit body called for the AMT '69 'cuda, IIRC, and I hate the chassis detail.
Trying to get as close to my original as I can. Dad put 14" steelies on it with F70-14 Wide One 4+2 Belted 70s white letter tires. That was my first credit account. Western Auto manager was a friend of Dads and let me have a charge account at 17. :D
I think the tires came out of a '68 Z-28 kit I bought for the chassis and engine for a replica Corvair I built that a good friend had.
