Help with roof seals and window alignment

Hey all. Yesterday we finished installing the roof rail seals and window regulator. We started to adjust the same. Quarter window is good. Door window, not quite there. At the quarter window it is good, but then gradually opens up until the front of the glass where I’ve got a 1/8” gap. But the vent window looks perfect… parallel to the a pillar. I’m not sure what adjustment to make. It needs to rotate back towards the rear, but I’m afraid that will just create a gap all the way across… but maybe that allows me to roll the window up a bit more?

Second question. At the front of the seal, there is about 4 inches that is just hanging. Does it get glued to the car?

By the way. What did you use to paint the chrome trim on the windows. Looks good. I just sent all the chrome on my car to get Powdercoated gloss black

I went with SPI epoxy over sand blasted parts, then a metallic black basecoat with a matte clear coat.
