longer tip rotor

Wider? I think I remember an Echlin rotor that was longer. I have a friend that extended the tip on a rotor to make it longer, because some cap’s have a bigger gap. I chased a very slight flutter for a bit because my rotor was too high. So the rotor would arc up to the exposed terminal on the roof of the cap instead of outward to the terminal. So it would fluctuate the timing a hair. Filed the base of the rotor and problem fixed.
