Manifold question

so, who knows what, about this Offenhauser intake? I don't think it's the "port o Sonic," which (as I remember) was another Offy intake.... I don't remember seeing any other ID'ing numbers on this Offy intake that I have. It is undoubtedly a small block Mopar intake. What applications would it be best for? (no, not gonna accept "scrap" as an answer) what were they "going for" when they came out with this intake?
I've run Performers before, and I've run SP-2P before (currently don't have one of those) which did fine, for my needs, at the time.
and I had a "streetmaster 318" on a D150 years ago.... as I remember, that was a single plane.... but mostly interested in hearing about what I currently "have here" mainly the Offy-----I'm not "married" to the idea of using this intake, just sayin'. But I wanna know what the story is/was with them....

I am leaning toward the Performer for the Fury, if only because it's "cleaner looking," and this Offy is dull and dingey. but I also know that, by itself, isn't a valid reason for choosing one over the other.

I converted the one side of my garage into a quasi "paint booth" and had to move a few things around.... and this was one of those "things" that I had to move. I almost threw it "into" my makeshift paint booth, because among other things, I have alot of parts I'm spraying Chrysler (engine) Blue onto, anyway. I'll talk more about that some other place.
I think this is the 1st intake that My son had this one mounted to the 360 in his Ramcharger. and he had to swap it out before it was even run. I don't remember why.
It may have been because of A/C-thermostat interference? His has the aluminum (Sanden?) I'm grasping for the reason there, it's been a few years. but my Fury has the RV2 comp, so I don't think that would be an issue in my case.
