Hi all
I just collected parts for a disk swap on my 65 cuda and one of the 4 piston KH caliper has pitting in the cylinder.
I am wondering if resleeving was still a way to repair or just go to caliper one os similar and order a rebuilt?? one..

Thanks for your help.....
and if you have a passenger one laying around let me know..
Thanks
Ed

At one time there was a company putting stainless sleeves in the bored. I think they were out of Florida, but it has been decades so CE I had the info.

My .02 cents on the matter.
Don't worry about it.
Sandpaper, emery cloth, Dremel with an abrasive flap wheel, and just go around the bore.
Don't worry about any pit corrosion.
The "seal" is at the top of the bore, and not on the piston itself.
Kelsey Hayes, is a better design than the Bendix, or BUDD, brakes, that the seal is on the piston itself.

I have some rebuilt ready to bolt on. If interested
I need the passenger one and have my old one as a core. What do you want for it?
