I love the 72 only torino "jet intake" front end.
 
Dad's last new car was a 72 Gran Torino Squire,302,3-speed on the column,manual steering,power front disc brakes and A/C. It was robin's egg blue with wood grain and a black interior. Got my driver's license with that car...I think the tester wasn't sure what I was doing with the shifter all the time or maybe it had been ages since he had seen one. When the rear quarters rusted, just the wood grain molding was left and a set of 12.2 X 31 slicks on 10" Centerlines fit. When Dad passed Mom wanted the car gone. I had a 429 and motor mounts in stock. Oh well. Thanks for the memories!
