Which intake is better for a weekend cruiser? Engine has J heads on it. Do I need the exhaust heat crossovers that the RPM intake has or would I better off with the air gap intake that doesn't have them?

as to whether or not it helps, I believe the alleged reason is to alleviate potential mixture distribution problems, but I've never experienced that...

pertaining to hood clearance, the RPM will fit where the airgap won't.

It’s a win win. The AG should be just fine down south. The regular RPM that heats the intake up will be good for a vehicle that is more gear round and closer to daily rather than weekender. This is a plus in the winter when I gets down right chilly to cold. Thanks for the info fellas. I guess I will pick up whichever comes up for sale first then.
