Hello everyone. I have a 73 Swinger I bought for $500. I've had it since 2009 and just now I'm able to start working on her. I disasembled the 318 down to just the block for the Machine shop but now I'm stuck because I don't know anything about boring out...port polish...ect. I just know I want the power and I know a machine shop can help my block out lol.. I have $3000 worth of high performance parts (Edelbrock, Msd,Ect.) That I bought 2yrs ago and are still unopened brand new in the backseat of the Dart. Im really hoping I come across some awesome Mopar enthusiasts on here that can share some knowledge and lead me down the right path to building my 318 so I can quiet down this Nova that lives next door Thank you and God bless

Welcome to the best site you could ever find. Tons of knowledge for you to get that beast into great shape. The folks here are the best bunch you’ll find for help. Great project you have there and so much better than a nova. Keep up the good work.

Hey man sry for such a late reply.. I'm using the original heads at the moment unfortunately. I'll be getting after market soon. I'm here at the machine shop now hopefully they know how much to bore and all that cuz I'm supper cherry limeade to this .30 .40 stage 1 and stage 2 terminology. I just know I'm trying to get as much power as I can from my 318 lol

My car is a nice driver now and I'm always looking for the next little project. I blew my wad on my engine build 4 years ago and my wife won't give me any more fun money yet!!
