I understand these are no longer available. What is everyone using as a replacement?
Prefer OEM filter instead of aftermarket.

Most mopar products are not mopar made. They are commissioned to known aftermarket manufacturers. Spark plugs were made by champion and the filter in the pic is probably made by wix or Purolator.

Doesn't a mopar 5281090 fit? Not tall enough for a 225 with the pipe but I think it fits all the rest.

I use Wix 51515. One of the best filters out there. Stay away from fram, not what they used to be. The fram number is PH8A and can be useful to find all the cross reference numbers.
Alternatively, PH43 fram is the shorter version if you have limited space. I believe the wix equivalent is 51068.

Napa is also Wix, just rebranded from what I've been told....
Someone used to post up an occasional great deal on the Wix by the case, but I've not seen that in a while.

I use Motorcraft on all my vehicles. Time after time and part number after part number, when the oil filter guy opens them up, they have more filter media than any other oil filter. Maybe not scientific, but damned good enough for me. I run the FL299 where it will fit (it's a two quart long filter) or the FL1A where the long one won't fit. Kitty's Escape gets the FL820S. They are high quality filters still made in America. There may be some out there that aren't, but as of yet, I haven't found one.

Did anyone watch the oil filter challenge on Engine Masters? Or having a high oil level can cost HP? Really, when you get right down to it, there is not a lot of difference between the top oil filters, flow or filtration.

Back in the day, fram filters is all my dad and I used. Is wix the filter of choice these days?

Frams suck, from their weak pleated media to their glued paper drain back valves. just the lowest cost per unit construction. Lots of comparisons online.

I'll use wix. Are K&N air filters as good as claimed to be or are they over rated too?

many K&N's were never oiled so they didnt work as designed. Id stick with a good pleated air cleaner. IIRC Fram air cleaners were still OK but many are compared online. Just get the tallest possible. Those short ones and 6" ones are useless.

I like being able to clean and oil my own. The air filter worked great on my airplane, works well on my 6-pack too.

WIX used to be, but they went global several years ago and now it's tough to find one made in USA.....if that kinda thing is important to you.

There are many oil filter comparison videos out there. Frams always fall in the bottom due to their cheaper construction. The can itself is even thinner. I had one blow out on me not too long ago. It had a little surface rust but nothing bad enough for the side to split. That was on a stock 318 with stock oil pump.
Every company is pinching pennys these days and its hard to keep up with who has the best product since they are always changing them (skimping).
I agree with the motocraft filters. I ran my fair share of them many years ago. I cant say how their quality is now.

The 0FE00151 is a Mag/Mar quick #.
You can use a Mopar 5281090 (may have a "bb" or "ab" after the part number).
You can also Mopar 4105409 as well. It's a smaller profile oil filter but will work just fine.
Walmart and parts stores sell them as M0-090 or M0-409. Again, just quick #'s.
Mopar oil/air filters were made in Blanchester Ohio by a company called American Showa.
That was when Daimler was still in charge. I don't know where they're made now.
I went on a tour of the plant in 2005 or 2006 as part of a Mopar Parts Guild trip. They were pretty high quality then, or at least the ones that were ran while we there were.

Headers are an example too.
JR headers was one supplier for the MP brand.
To the op, does it matter if its mopar brand?
