What headers do you have. I bought this kit for my 72 and I’m having issues fitting the over the axle pipe in. 360 with headman headers

I used the recommended Hooker 1-5/8 as well as the Summit branded headers. As mentioned, work the tail pipe section first. Use the muffler hanger to hood it tight enough to help keep it still. That’s it! You don’t want to crush the pipe any.
