Hey Guys,

I have the PST 1.03 T bars for my Dart Swinger 6 cyl. I want to make sure I am doing the install right. So I have the front suspension all put together. The upper control arm bumper removed. Shocks removed so the suspension is hanging as low as possible. I have the height adjustment screw backed out to where just the tip and the start of the threads show. Lower control arm adjustment arm resting on tip of height adjustment screw. Is this correct so far? Also, is there supposed to be a spacer/ washer between the lower control arm bushing shaft and the K frame?

You are correct in the steps of installation of the torsion bars. As for the question on a spacer are you referring to where the pivot shaft goes into the k member if so there should not be a washer or spacer.

When you get your bars slid in from the back, they still may not 'mesh' with the front sockets hex clocking. Take a pipe wrench and hook the outside of the LCA socket and crank the socket/LCA down to match the bars hex clocking, then youll have to take your 3rd hand and slide the bar in. I find its helps to put a floor jack somewhere between the jackstands an give the middle a little lift to straighten the unibody out. Mine slid right in when I relieved some of the inherent body sag when I had jackstands under the K and rear axle only. The larger size bars have less built in twist to them as they dont relax much under load so yours may slide right in. My 340 bars were a PITA to get in without the wrench and sag support. ended up using my foot on the pipe wrench and 2 hands on the bar in a twister move.
