72 Dart Swinger 3.6L Pentastar +T5

not talking about the 3.5 . Only 3.6 penastar . I get many things take different patterns like slants a d la and big blocks . What I don’t understand is if I can buy a new challenger with a 3.6 pen star in it and I could pull that out and put an a 5.7 hemi and use the transmission is still in the car how do they not share the same pattern? Dodge says you can get the 3.6 Pennstar or the 57 hemi with the same transmission backing it up. Dodge also says the motor mounts are the same part number

3.6 pentastar and small block/Hemi use different bellhousing bolt patterns, same way that the slant 6 and small block/Hemi use different bolt patterns.

As for the 3.5 to 3.6 talk. Dodge used a 3.5 v6 from 2006-2010 and then a completely different designed 3.6 engine from 2011 until current.
