Fuel Line Question

Hey all, I'm in the process of pulling my slant six, and I'm not sure where to disconnect the fuel lines. I tried pulling the line from the fuel pump, but it just started gushing gasoline. Is this the correct spot to disconnect the line? Am I supposed to drain the fuel tank first? Thanks
