I wish. I threw a rod in my old 170, so I'm swapping it with a 225 (that may or may not run) in considerably worse condition. Only thing the new engine has going for it is that there's not a hole in the block.

this is a great forum and im sure you can either find the expertise to get the 225 you have running or a trustworthy one to replace it with
have you had a look in the regional section yet?
it looks like you got the skills to do this job on your own (or the moxy to try it without skills) but you mght find an extra set of hands there
