Hi! I just picked up a 273 fan shroud for a '64-'66 Barracuda/Valiant, but it doesn't have the brackets. Does anyone have a spare set lying around?

Thanks!

Can you post a picture of your radiator side panels where the brackets would mount? I have some brackets that may or may not work depending on your panels

I don't have pictures of my car at the moment, but here are two pictures. One is of the brackets themselves, and the other is a picture showing where they go on another car. I just bought the shroud yesterday and it has not shown up yet, so I don't have any measurements yet.

The a-body ones are really tough to find...they repop the b-body ones but they are different, will probably need to modify them. I think I have 1 b-body one I can get a picture of it next to my a-body ones to show the difference if you like.

Yes, please! That would at least give me an idea if it's something I can do or not. I may just have to have someone make me some, but if it would be easier to modify existing ones, I will go that route.

I never know the 65 fans were that big. I got the stock fan for my 65 S and I thought it was a 4 blade. Non AC car.....?

Maybe I got the slant 6 fan on the wall in my head...

That looks like a clutched flex fan in the picture I posted; not the factory one.
That looks like a factory A/C or dealer installed A/C clutch fan setup. There were actually 5 different fans used on the '66 models. (maybe they were used in '65 too?) There is the 4 blade rigid 2658984, 6 blade rigid 2463376, a factory A/C 7 blade clutch type 2658401, and a dealer installed A/C 7 blade clutch type 2532257. They also made one for a vehicle with the tow package and C.A.P. which was also a 7 blade 2658970. I think all the 7 blade fans have aluminum blades. The others are all steel.

I have the proper cage nuts (new) for the radiator bracket. I may have some extra brackets too, but, it would be a couple of weeks before I would be able to ship them. If you can't find them and can wait till then, let me know.

thanks for that info, didn’t know there were so many. My dad has a 66 Formula S with the CAP package, I’ll have to look his fan over sometime and check it.

The painted black one is for the early A, the other is for a B-body...the holes don’t line up the same and they have a different curve, the black one has more of a bend to it. You could probably make the b-body ones work and drill the hole larger, you will also need the special nuts that mount to the radiator. Hope this helps!

Yes, please! My car is off the road right now, anyway. I had a brake line fail, so I am currently converting to a dual master cylinder and replacing everything else. No big rush. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!!!

Here's a few I just ran across. I may have more, but, I don't have the time right now to search. When I get the chance, I'll check for more. It'll be a couple of weeks though. Looks like the left two are correct for your application.

Wow!!! Thank you so much!!! 2 is better than none! Yes, I think you are right; the left two are the correct ones from what I can tell. I will definitely buy those two from you if that's all you can find, but if you find two more, that would be great.
