Is there a source for the original style rubber strut rod bushings? Does the Dodge dealer/Mopar still sell them? I know that polyurethane versions are available. Does the polyurethane version change the alignment?

Was the original version one piece or two piece on 1973 a body?
Mopar part number of the stock version?

The Moog K7068 bushings are out of stock everywhere. Summit shows a Delphi TD4884W as being the same and available for 7/11/22, but who knows. The Moog bushings have been basically non-existent for about 2 years now.

Poly strut rod bushings aren't the greatest. There's only one size that allegedly fits all the years, which can't be accurate because the early and late versions of the strut rods use different thickness bushings. The other thing is that the strut rod bushings act in multiple directions. It's better to have stiffer bushings under acceleration and braking, as that will keep the LCA from flexing fore/aft which is bad for your alignment. But, they also have to flex when the strut rod moves up and down with the LCA with suspension travel, and the stiffer poly bushing resists that change too, which isn't good as it will act like binding in the suspension.

Was the original factory bushings for 1973 two piece or a one piece that is different from the 67-72 version?
Anybody have the Mopar part number of the stock one for 1973?
Are the Moog version different from the factory stock but still maintain the same alignment? Is the Moog version rubber?

I have a 3 sets of the one piece and one set of the 2 piece factory bushings if you need any but the steel spacer is missing from one of the two piece bushings. The price would be $50 a set including shipping within the USA.

I would be interested in the set of 2 piece factory rubber bushings. Can you post a picture of it? I have the original sleeves. Thank you
I have not figured out how to send a personal message on this forum. Is there a way?

Call a fella named Craig Stanley from West Hempstead NY - 516-485-1935. He tries everything to sell everything made in USA , one man band sells out the back of his van. Sold me everything rubber for front end of 71 Duster- all moog parts made in USA printed on the boxes - sells @ Carlisle every year. Might be a few $$ more to deal with him but he's small business and well worth it. Be warned when you get him on the phone do not be in a hurry to get off. You'll have a few belly laughs before hanging up. A wealth of front end knowledge and entertaining at the same time. Boxes & ships like a pro. Do yourself a favor and call him. He'll be your go to guy. Hope this is helpful. -Mike

I forgot about him. I've bought parts for another car from him. Thanks

Thank you for the pictures. I want to buy the ones in the first picture. The set of two piece rubber strut rod bushings for 1973 and up. How do we do this? I don't know how to send a personal message on this forum.

I’ll take all the hate for it but I won’t use OE strut rods any more. Everything I do gets adjustable strut rods. They cost more up front but he end product is far better than any bushing.

You already have it apart so now is the time to update it for good. Buy once, cry once.

We have both the rubber bushing styles in stock both the one and two piece.
