Lets face it MoparMarks. Its hard to beat the great gas mileage with the power to blow the doors off of the older cars and they come with a warranty. That means that you don't have to be a wrench turner to compete.
Plus my wife says the new cars have no STINK. They burn fuel so efficiently that when you get out of them you don't smell like the car.. She can tell when I have been out in my 1970 Challenger, Big Cam 2 four barrels and not a cab tight seal takes it's toll. I still love it though. Oh the other thing is all the cool stuff that the new cars come with. Not counting the price of course.
