I thought of swapping in a 1965 pushbutton slip-yoke output shaft and housing, if I can find one, but I'm told they will not interchange with 1962 - 1964 727s.
I have not ever heard that... we'll see what others say. I think you could use any '65 trans, for small block or big block, and just remove the output shaft and tailstock to use on your BnT units.
