Trying to line up the V belts instead of throwing them.

I like having the power steering and water pump on the same belt, so I know when it breaks or throws. I've always found the alternator is easier to move forward/back.

Also, Hughes sells spacers for the water pump pulley mount. I've even had one of those aluminum fan spacers machined down to make it thinner. I have also used a 5 foot long wooden dowel to help me see misalignment in the pulleys. I surprised me how much that trick helped.
