Had this in my stash. Kinda before my time, maybe.. I'm guessing a mid rise for 318 ports? Maybe a dual plane? I dunno. Kinda guessing by the #s

Very cool, love seeing pictures of stuff I haven’t seen before.

its great for mpg but for performance a stock 2 bbl might out run it...lol
I was thinking about these and thet Holley of back in the day.
And about the same time frame Holley made one. Short Small Ports, and had a balance tube from side to side.
FYI Back then I ran a Street Dominator and 650 DP and got (SPG) Smiles Per Gallon instead of MPG.
391 gears Fairbanks converter, and a 484 purple shaft that proberly was close to 240 degrees @ 50 duration.
And bought blemishes tires from a guy since I did burnouts like on Roadkill.
The good old days

I remember buying a 68 Coronet 4 Dr, for 300 in change. Took the original bias plus off and stuck em on my 68 Coronet 383 4spd....totally fun, just didn't last long. Car had 4:56 gears that week

great 4X4 intake on a 318 as they run out of air by 4500 RPM. Can idle that sucka up a hill! There were 2 models,t he other had a clockable stat base.

It's got a small holley on there now. Was in a car running. Engine was in a Friend's Dad's truck, then the Duster

I had one on a diplomat for a few years. Did what I needed it to do

@318willrun needs to do a mileage comparison video on that one. I bet a LD4B and a 600 Edelbrock will get close to 20 mpg/hwy on a properly tuned 318. The SP2P not a whole lot better I bet.

Not happy at all w/ the 07... wish some idiot didn't total my Jeep. Ready ton to back to late 90s,to 02. No issues, for Years w/ the several I owned

I've got one on my shelf right now. Bought it for a great price from member tekslk. He had it on his 360 Barracuda before he moved to Eddy heads. Mounting a square bore to it isn't a issue with a thin spacer plate, similar to a Performer mount.

I know i'll probably never use it, but it makes nice garage art and if i ever get a later 273, i wouldn't hesitate a bit to plop that baby on there.
