Now of course, all the experts will weigh in about "proper fuel atomization" blah blah blah, but that's only when the engine's cold. Once warmed up, the benefit from a non heated intake far outweigh the longer warmup times.

This stuff is coming off today. Going to get some heater hose and eliminate it. Funny you should mention. No matter how you start a car when its cold the coolant is also cold and would not matter lol. Saying that I have no plans to drive the car in super cold weather and probably would not cruise when temps are less than 40 degrees and I think there is enough heat under the hood to keep the carb reasonably warm. The heck with it, this stuff is gone lol.
