That is not a MP cam; all the MP cams I've ever seen are Purple, that's why they are called Purple shaft cams, the paint marks on the cam are meaningless; if your measurements are accurate, at .440 lift with a 1.5 rocker, it; the cam; is not eather a .528 or .590 lift MP solid lifter cam; more like a no-name stock replacement; though I will hazard a guess that the "circle M" MAY, MAY, be a stamp by Melling Tool who MAY have ground it.
