Torque thrust D and wilwood

Well, American racing finally got back to me. They said the depth of the center cap from mounting surface is only .6"! Seems kinda shallow it but that would definitely make it where the wildwoods won't work.
So, looks like I will be going 73+ front disc set up. I really want the torque thrust D wheels, so now my dilemma is 15x7 with a 3.76" backspace or 15x6 with 3.66" backspace on the front. From searching the threads, it seems like with the 3.76" backspace the max tire for the front I could run is a 205/60 15. "Maybe" a 225/60 15 if I went with the 15x6 3.66 backspace?
On the back, I will be running an 8.8" rear with offset shackles. I want to run 15x8 4.5" backspace with 275/60 15.
I'm a little concerned that it may look odd with a 28" tire in the back and a 24.6" tire in the front?
My car is a 67 notch. Not drag racing. Street cruiser. I am wanting to go for the look in this pic as far as the stance and wheels and tires.
@72bluNblu I know you have given many on here some great insight. Would you mind giving me your thoughts?
Thanks!

I'd say your assessment is spot on. With the 15x7's and 3.76" of backspace the absolute best you'll do is a 205. You might consider a 205/65/15, as that would be 25.5" tall. But even a 205/65/15 on that rim will be 1/16" closer to the fender than my 275/35/18's are, and my fenders are rolled and pushed. Granted, my car is substantially lowered and it's got a Dart fender not a Barracuda, so, there are differences and it might work for you.

Same for the 15x6's. A 225/60/15 is still going to put your tires 3/32" outside of my 275's. Maybe possible, but you're definitely in a spot where "fitting and trimming" will be required. A 215/60/15 on that wheel would be a much safer bet.

What you really need is a 15x7 with a 4.25" backspace or so.

In the back I don't think you'll have any issues with the 275's on 15x8's, but the backspace will depend on what width you make that 8.8.
